Child Care Information Services

Subsidized Child Care

Subsidized Child Care helps income eligible families pay for day care services while parents work. Eligibility for this program and an assessed copayment are based on family size and income. The actual cost of child care, up to a county ceiling rate is paid by CCIS.

You Are Eligible If You: Required Documents:
  • Reside in your county
  • Are a US Citizen or Legal Alien
  • Are employed at least 20 hours per week
  • Are promised a job to begin within 30 days
  • Are a full time high school student
  • Meet current income guidelines

**Food Stamp - TANF - Former TANF recipients may also be eligible

  • Pay Stubs (4 of the most recent 6 weeks)
  • Birth Certificates
  • Child Support
  • Proof of Address
  • Photo ID of Parents/Caretakers

  • Listing of County Day Care Providers
  • Eligibility Determination
  • Information on additional community social services agencies and programs
  • Referral to other community resources
  • Parent Education on Quality Child Care practice and child development issues
  • Assistance in finding providers to meet your individual family needs
  • Licensed Day Care Centers
  • Licensed Group Day Care Homes
  • Registered Family Day Care Homes
  • Unregulated Day Care (Relative/Neighbor)

If you have concerns about a child care facility you select, you should discuss them with your child care provider. Many concerns can be resolved through discussion.
