Energy Auditor / Weatherization Installer
Home energy professionals can quickly grow through work experience and paid training. We are willing to invest in the right person with paid education and paid wages while you learn. Education is a combination of online and in person classes at Penn States Clean Energy Center in Williamsport or Latrobe PA.
Energy Auditor is a residential energy efficiency professional who evaluates the efficiency, health, and safety of homes. They conduct field measurements to identify areas for savings and make a plan to review with the customer through an audit report. They play a vital role in ensuring existing homes are energy-efficient, healthy, and safe for occupants. Auditors combine their extensive knowledge of building science and keen investigative skills to identify energy savings opportunities for their customers, and then develop work orders for the retrofit installers to follow. Requires use of computer and software programs. Retrofit Installer is a residential energy efficiency professional who installs energy efficiency upgrades and improves the safety and comfort of single-family homes and small multi-family housing (2-4 units).
Experience in the construction trades is required.
Both positions are: Full-time, location is in person, typically Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift.
